Schuco New Release News
To keep our customers better informed ,We are making the lists available to our customers online. The list will show the new items that have just become available to ship from Germany. In most cases German Aircooled has already ordered the items on the list in previous orders. The list just lets us know the items are now ready to be shipped from Germany.
***IMPORTANT***
On the bottom of the page of New Releases will be a list of items sold out at Schuco. The items are no longer available and will be removed from back orders. Schuco intentionally produces their collectible models in relatively small numbers. As a Schuco USA Distributor we make every effort to get all of the Schuco products for our customers.

General Overview of how the German Toy industry works
It all begins each year in February at the Nürnberg toy fair in Germany. Exhibitors show off their newest products and toy industry trade folk converge on Nürnberg to see what is new and then place orders for the products they will resale to their customers. The Nürnberg Toy Fair is a worldwide event and stets the standard for all other toy fairs. Like the other large toy makers Schuco has a huge exhibit and meets with their customers to show off all of the new items. It is at this meeting where we place our first (very large) order of the year. We always try to order as much as we can in width and depth especially new items and limited items. At the time we place our order it is not known when the new products will be released during the course of the year. Items in the Schuco Catalog marked "New 200X" will be released during the year. This means anywhere from February to December. We have tried to get a list of release dates for the year, but they do not have such a list. This is why we can not tell you (our customer) when you can expect to get your order until we see it on the New Release list sent to us each month from Schuco.
We have experienced a little frustration from customers asking when they can expect to get the Schuco products they have ordered. I hope this will help explain why we have to wait until we know.
In addition to the February Toy fair new release (Messe Neuheiten) You can expect to see a release in the Summer-July (Sommer Neuheiten) and Winter-Dec (Winter Neuheiten) of mostly Limited Edition items of 1000 or 2000 pcs. Traditionally these items sell out very quickly. By the time Schuco sends us the brochure in enough quantity to send out to our customers ,most of the items in it will be sold out. For this reason, In the future I plan to make the Sommer & Winter release brochure viewable online so our customers can order as soon as possible. The brochure will usually be a two to four page brochure. The Brochure will also be up on the Schuco web site.
